You will learn the staples of posing, peeling, teasing, characterisation, prop work and of course the fine art of tassel twirling! You will pose like Marilyn, peel like Gypsy Rose Lee, tease like Immodesty and discover that inner diva, femme fatale, comedian or ‘bad girl’ – all in a day’s work for a budding burlesque artist!

Take a trip back to the 1920’s as you learn the vintage dance moves that were once danced by flappers.

The Flaming Feathers appeared at Coco Boudoir in Bath on Saturday 23rd April finishing the show on a screaming high (literally) with their rendition of the french can-can!
Full of humour, screaming, plenty of knicker flashing and very very high kicks The Feathers enjoyed being part of such a fab show!

After just 7 classes with The Showgirl Academy the Can-Can students take the stage at The Valentines Charity Dance at Bawa Ballroom, Bristol. What a fantastic job they did!

So fantastic that we are now setting up a performance troupe for dedicated students wanting to take to the stage regularly!
